Spay & Neuter Program
The Big Fix offers low-cost neutering to income-eligible families. According to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, “Each month 15-30 animals are altered through the Big Fix, helping reduce the number of unwanted animals that are turned in to the shelter each year.” The program targets low-income families and individuals that do not utilize veterinary services simply because of the cost associated.
For more information about the Big Fix program call 307-286-0177, or download their application here.

Microchipping
Microchips are just like an identification tag only they can’t fall off or get lost! They are tiny, harmless devices that are implanted between an animal’s shoulder blades. You can get your pet microchipped from your veterinarian or at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
At the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, you can get your pet microchipped for $25. Bring your pet to the CAS shelter during normal business hours, no appointment is necessary!
